NEW SURVEY PROCESS & CLINICAL PATHWAYS

 

Webinar Description
The Requirements of Participation (ROPs) are being phased in over three years with the final phase occurring in November, 2019. Leadership teams need to understand how to expand current processes and protocols to meet resident needs, fulfill the new regulatory requirements and prepare for Phase 3.

Purpose
The purpose of this virtual education program is to provide nurse participants with an understanding of how and why Corporate Compliance, QAPI and the MDS/RAI process should flow seamlessly to reduce negative outcomes and expand success. Learners will be able to describe methods to internally limit and identify potential areas of deficiencies that will ultimately improve patient care and outcomes.

Target Audience
Long-term care directors of nursing, assistant directors of nursing, nurse managers, RNs and LPNs with intermediate or advanced levels of expertise and/or administrators and corporate level management.

Learner Objectives:

  1. Describe the regulatory history and the progressive move toward patient centered care.
  2. Identify methods to standardize protocols and develop evidenced based
  3. Examine the new F-tags and where they fall under sub-categories.
